Kenshiea has been in the transportation field for 13 years, working with Voluntary Intradistrict Choice Corporation (VICC) students through companies such as Go Ahead, Durham School Services & Leasing, and Missouri Central School Bus. She knows the industry from the ground up, having worked as a bus driver, safety supervisor, dispatcher, and now a routing manager.

During her eight years with Douglas County School District, Mo held positions as a special needs bus driver, dispatcher, and then moved up to overseeing day-to-day operations. From scheduling 100 drivers for routes, handling customer service, consolidating routes, taking into consideration the unique needs of special needs pupils and equipment, fleet utilization, and more, Mo is highly qualified in the daily needs of a transportation department.

With more than 25 years working in pupil transportation, Dawn has worked in numerous facets of the industry. Starting as a bus driver, she moved into positions as a contract manager and then district director of transportation. For the past 11 years, Dawn has served as an Illinois State Board of Education instructor for bus drivers throughout the area.

Dee joined the SBL team after working for more than 19 years as a route coordinator for Keller ISD and then four years as the regional routing manager for Northwest ISD. She is proficient in analyzing routes for efficiency and safety while collaborating with multiple school departments for optimal performance. With an extensive knowledge of multiple routing softwares, Dee is able to provide school districts with solid guidance for students and their families.

The military logistics experience he possesses will add value to the pupil transportation industry while his ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines makes him a valuable member of the SBL team.

Karen Jimenez

Karen has grown up in pupil transportation with both her mother and sister working in the industry on the East Coast. She has experience in all aspects of student bussing by working as a monitor, a driver, and maintenance administrator. She then began her work in dispatching, routing, and charter coordination for more than 5,000 students through Durham School Services. She focuses on working with the team to create routes in a timely manner that ensures students are safe.

Marquita brings 25+ years of transportation experience to her role at SBL. She has worked as a charter services coordinator, bus driver, and a routing specialist for First Student, which supplies and manages more than 42,000 school buses across the U.S. At SBL, Marquita merges her passion for student safety and logistics with her skills in accounting and money management.
